New problem - Just ran 1st qtr statements for 2007 and made a perplexing discovery. In the "Pledge Summary" section, the Actual total pledge is grossly overstated. The erroneous total is overstated by exactly the amount of the annual pledge except for a few cases where I can't see a pattern. The "Fund Summary" section reflects the correct amount of pledges/contributions given to date.
I am using version 9 with MS XP operating system. I did perform a software update a few days prior to running statements, but I can't imagine why that would have any bearing on this problem.
Thanks for any help offered.

Here are a couple of things to look at:
Make sure that a new pledge was added for this year. If last year's pledge was updated with 2007 dates, it is possible that last year's actual is still applied!
While looking at that, make sure someone didn't erroneously add a "Start Balance" to each pledge. This happens from time to time. The pledge start balance is to be used if you want to start someone off with a nice credit toward this year's pledge, or if you want to tack on unpaid pledge amounts from prior years.
One of those two should get you there.

Problem Solved!
Zorak, thanks for your helpful suggestions. It was the "Start Balance" addition that caused the problem.
