Combining contribution number

Please help,

I am a new bookkeeper for our church. I recently found quite a few members with duplicate numbers. The reason was they may have contributed before joining our congregation or by mistake assigned two visitoring numbers. How can I combine their contribution so that only ONE statement is printed in January

First off, I'm fairly sure that you must have full permissions to do changes to the membership database as well as contributions in order to correct these issues. The reason is that you'll be deleting profiles, and unless you have the permissions to do so, you'll have to get with the church or membership secretary to assist you with this.
