Suppressing sub-total

I am creating a custom Contribution Statement and am having a sub-total grouping by date. How can I suppress all but the final sub-total of the day.

You will have to group by the envelope number, then by date in the report layout. Add the daily sub-total in the date group footer, it should only print then when the day changes.

All of this info is located in the detail section. Is there a way to supress the sub-total accept the final one of the day?

Are you just wanting to print one total for every day they have given? Are you going to try to print a listing of the funds they gave to during the period?

I am trying to mimic the ALL CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS, Full Fund Details report, the sub-total column only prints one total per day.

Example:
09/16/2007 400.00 GENERAL 400.00
09/30/2007 330.00 BUILDING
250.00 SPECIAL - GENERAL 580.00

On 9/30, two contibutions were given. In MY current custom report, a subtotal of 330.00 appears at the end of the BUILDING line.

You are going to have to create a group in the report layout on date. In the group footer, you will add your sub-total. The daily sub-total is going to have to be on a line below the last entry for the day.

Why are you trying to recreate the contribution statement? Is there some functionality missing that you need?
