Adding to posted contributions

Adding to posted contributions
Sorry if this was already posted. We recently posted contributions but forgot to add in funds from our remote members. Is there a way to delete the posted contributions so that we can recount with the new totals. Assuming there is not can additional givings be added to an already posted contributions. Thank you

My suggestion is to not delete already posted contributions that have been properly verified / reconciled.
You can certainly enter additional contributions for the remote members (so I assume electronic giving) for the same contribution date(s). That way, for reporting, for 'fund report by date', the totals for that day will be correct. If you redo the 'deposit slip' report, it shows everything for the desired contribution date.
Before posting the additional contributions, you can simply add the totals of unposted to the already posted for the desired date to verify the total amount is correct. Assuming they match, you then post the unposted contributions and it all should work out.
If you are unsure, back-up before doing this method, then backup again after posting. Then, if you encounter any issues, you can restore to the backup.
In summary, you can post contributions multiple times as required. This is what we do. We post non-online giving after verifying; then online donations are verified / reconciled and posted as a separate action. This is done deliberately based on how we verify and reconcile contributions for in-person and online donations.
