Contribution did not post

Post by Turning Point »

I have one contribution that did not post with the rest of the entries for 12/8. I have no idea why. It shows when I run a report to show unposted contributions but not anywhere else.

If I try to post it or delete it, PC says there's nothing there.

It doesn't show on the contribution statement which is a problem, and I can't balance my checking account, also a problem.

Any suggestions?

Have you done a reindex of the files lately? Try that, as it sometimes clears up things.

About the checking account, is the amount off the same as that contribution?

Oh my gosh. You guys are geniuses.

I re-indexed as you suggested. The check still showed as unposted. So I tried to post it and the program let me. Then posted in Fund Accounting and it shows up as expected.

Thank you so much!
