Wanted to clarify how To setup/keep track of tithes, offerings etc. going to a specific Service.

ex. Sunday Worship
Sunday School
Special Service
VBS

What you can do is what we do for Sunday School here.

We setup a Contribution Fund, with the income account as our normal income account for Sunday Offerings, and our normal checking account.

We then track the income in the Contributions module only, as we have only one income account for normal tithes and offerings, and all income of that type goes into that Income Account.

What you can do is the following:

Contribution Fund 100 - Sunday Worship
Contribution Fund 110 - Sunday School
Contribution Fund 120 - Other Services
Contribution Fund 130 - VBS

All should be setup with:
Checking account: 01-1110-000
Income account: 01-4100-000

Obviously you would use your Funds Accounting account numbers.

So you do not have any contribution funds setup to say Tithes or offerings? I'm just trying to figure out which is the best way to track.
Ex. for your "Contribution Fund 100 - Sunday Worship" is it assumed its tithes and offering?

Ours does say "Tithes & Offerings" ... my example was based on what you had listed.

And please do not confuse Contribution Funds with Funds Accounting Funds or Accounts. Two completely separate items and modules.

Our normal offerings go to Fund 100 - Tithes & Offerings. We put most all contributions there, we do have a separate Contribution Fund to track Sunday School offerings, Fund 2300.

However, they all get Debited to the same accounts in Fund Accounting: 01-1110-000: Checking, and Credited to the same Income account: 01-4030-000: Tithes & Offerings.

Thanks SO MUCH. That claries things for me. I havent setup accounting yet by the way strictly contributions for now. I just wanted to make sure we could see a report of how much each service brought in, instead of looping everything together.
