Hello,
We are starting our 3 year capital campaign. My question is how do I enter pledges for couples who pledged together, but have different envelope# For example this couple pledged $30,000.00 over the 3 year period. They want to continue to have different envelope #'s. Do I divide the amount equally or do I only show the pledge under one person?

I would ask them. The reason being is that its up to them how they want to fulfill this pledge. You could arbitrarily split it in half, but then they may want to pay 20K from one and 10K on the other.

If they ask why, tell them that the system needs to reflect the proper amounts, otherwise their statements will show an overpayment on pledges on one envelope, and an underpayment on the other. If they're OK with that, then just go with half & half. However, being upfront with them now will reduce questions when they get their first set of statements.
