I have been working on our chart of accounts for several months and have not yet completed them, if I were to post the contributions would this affect anything with the chart of accounts. I have several reports that we are needing by fund for our capital campaign. I am hoping to be finished very soon, but so many other priorities have taken place. I am on version 11.5

When you click on Post Contributions, a menu will appear on the next screen with 4 options.

The 4th option is to Only Update the Contributions Module.

If you choose this option, the Chart of Accounts in Fund Accounting will not be affected.

Another idea is to choose the option to "Update Fund Accounting Via File". In this way you can post Contributions, yet save the transactions that update Fund Accounting to import later.
