We have church council members rotate through the Sunday offering counting duty, and are getting ready to train them in the data entry for contributions. To help them and simplify things, I established a list of tasks under the Quick Task pane. (They will only see PowerChurch once a month at best, so I need to make everything as "dummy proof" as possible.)
I have no problem accessing the Bank Deposit Slip when going through the normal program menu: Contributions > Reports > Bank Deposit Slip > Run. Shazam! Perfect report.
BUT, when I try to access the very same report that I placed under the Quick Tasks pane, I get an error message: "You do not have access to this module....blah blah blah."
My mistake? Permissions error? Program error?? Any advice or suggestions will be most welcome.

Hmmm ... you would think it would work. I just tested something and it appears that this occurs if the only permission they have is Data Entry Only. Might be a bug, in which case, I suspect one of the Powerchurch support people will make note of it.
That said, with that Permission the only reports they have access to are the Unposted Contributions, Funds Report, and Deposit Slip. Everything else is not even displayed.
So for the time being, if you could work with that, you should be fine.
