Contribution Reports/Deposit slip
We just moved our POWERCHURCH 10.4 to a new server. Now we don't have a bank deposit report. It shows 0 checks and 0 cash. We did not post the contributions prior to reviewing the powerchurch deposit slip. Any assistance will be greatly appreicated.

Re: Contribution Reports/Deposit slip
I would need to know about the "move" from one server to another.
Did you install PowerChuch on the new server, and then restore a backup from the old PowerChurch?
Did you install PowerChuch on the new server, and then do a file copy from the old PowerChurch?
Other?

John is correct.
The best way to 'move' Powerchurch is to do a backup on the old machine, install Powerchurch on the new machine from CD, then restore the backup.
If the old server is still available, I'd to a backup then restore on the new.

We moved powerchurch from the old server to the new and then did a file copy.

A file copy may not correctly move items. If you have access to the old server, do a backup from that Powerchurch setup, then restore to the new computer's setup.rnelson wrote:We moved powerchurch from the old server to the new and then did a file copy.
