A contributor would like to send a check to the church once a month and the amount be split between 2 different funds. He would like as few counters to see this as possible. Is it possible to designate 2 funds in repeating contributions? Would there be 2 entries for one check?
When the check arrives, should it be released before the counters see it or make sure that the Financial Secretary releases it?

Re: Repeating Contributions
You would have to create two separate repeating contributions for the envelope in question. The issue is this, who does the deposit? Do the counters use a bank drop, or does the Financial Secretary do the final deposit.Leigh wrote:A contributor would like to send a check to the church once a month and the amount be split between 2 different funds. If the counters do the deposit, then the Financial Secretary may have to do a separate deposit. If the Secretary does the final deposit, then she can add the check to the deposit.

Re: Repeating Contributions
The counters take the deposit to the bank. I'll talk it over with the Financial Secretary. Thank you.
