Hi,
I didn't see this issue previously posted.
When I attempt to email (html) all contribution statements (~75), nothing gets sent. The report is blank. However, when I email (html) an individual statement, it's sent right away and includes the donor/envelope # on the report.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for any assistance!

Do you have the Powerchurch SMTP email settings setup?fkfinancials33 wrote:Hi,

Individual reports are actually sent via your local email program, usually Outlook, the mass statements are set using the built-in mass email system, but you have to have that setup via the File -> Preferences -> System Setup (E-mail tab) before it can work.
This Knowledgebase Article can help you: https://www.powerchurch.com/support/434 ... owerchurch
However, if its already setup, then there may be another issue. Please let us know.

Hi Neil,
Thanks for responding.
Yes, I have set that up in sys setup, tested it and made a successful connection.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you

Re: Unable to email ALL contribution statements (HTML)
So when you try to email the reports, do you see any type of error message? Have you emailed the statements previously without a problem? Are you running from a client or the server? What version of Windows? Do you have a firewall installed? If so, is it setup to allow outgoing connections from PCPlus ??fkfinancials33 wrote:Hi Neil,

Finally, I'm going to ask the obvious question, are the emails setup to receive contribution statements ??

Re: Unable to email ALL contribution statements (HTML)
So when you try to email the reports, do you see any type of error message? No. It actually tells me statements have been successfully generated. But when I click on the report, no donors are listed as successfully being sent to server.
Have you emailed the statements previously without a problem? No, this is my first time.
Are you running from a client or the server? I'm using my laptop @ home, so client?
What version of Windows? Windows 8
Do you have a firewall installed? If so, is it setup to allow outgoing connections from PCPlus ?? Yes, a firewall is on. I haven't received an indication that anything was blocked. Also, PCPlus is not on the list of apps to allow/disallow.
Finally, I'm going to ask the obvious question, are the emails setup to receive contribution statements ?? lol, yes, the box is checked in the personal profiles to email contribution statements

Re: Unable to email ALL contribution statements (HTML)
OK ... using your laptop at home, I'm going to assume in this case that you're using a stand alone copy with a copy of the database, or the church does not network Powerchurch and its only on one machine (the laptop), or are you using Powerchurch Online ??fkfinancials33 wrote:So when you try to email the reports, do you see any type of error message? In any case, try using Plain Text as the message instead of HTML .. see what happens.

Plain text did it. Not as "pretty", but it worked! I'll try and figure out the html piece later.
Thanks for your help!
