Pre-paying a pledge

I have someone who gave me their 2015 pledge & then paid it in Dec 2014. When printing out the 2015 contribution statement, how do I show that the 2015 pledge was paid? Right now it shows a pledge was made, but actual $0. How do I make this correct? Thank you!

Since it was paid in 2014, you should head to
Contributions -> Pledges -> Maintain Pledges. Locate the contributor's record there, select the 2015 pledge by double clicking on it with your mouse. Enter the amount paid in 2014, in the
Pledge Start Balance box, and click OK.
You'll then see that when statements are created, the pledge will be fulfilled, but since it was paid in 2014, you will not see an entry in the list of donations for 2015.
