Thank you for your reply regarding posting contributions, but not having them show up in the checking account. I just went to contributions > post contributions, and it says, "No unposted contributions. Please enter contributions first." Nowhere does it give me the option of choosing the update fund accounting option. Where is this, and when should it come up? Thank you.

If you have contributions unposted (contributions-->modify unposted contributions) you will be able to post under contributions. if the option to update fund accounting is greyed out for you then you need to look at your setup under contributions-->maintain list of contribution funds and make sure there is a debit and credit defined.
