Monthly bank authorisation

Post by janehelp »

Hi
Some members are giving me a pre-authorisation monthly withdrawal from their bank account for donations. I used a private company to perform the transaction. The company is no longer supporting it. Does power church has anyway of creating a file or setup automatic withdrawals from members bank accounts?

Thank you

Powerchurch only records, it does not interact with any banks directly. You may want to check out Vanco, as I believe they do this and they provide a file to import directly into Powerchurch.

PowerChurch is designed to work specifically with Vanco Payment Solutions. The information we have from them says that they can set up a custom solution for Canadian users. Give them a call at (800) 675-7430 or visit their site at https://electronicdonations.com

PushPay is available for Canadian churches and has an article on their web site explaining how to export information for PowerChurch. We haven't worked with them on this, but from the documentation, it looks like a manual export process. You would have to figure out which contributions you want to export each time and filter the list manually.
