How can I reassign contributions that I have entered from contributions only to fund accounting? Reference the situation to which you referred below. Thank you.


If you have contributions unposted (contributions-->modify unposted contributions) you will be able to post under contributions. if the option to update fund accounting is greyed out for you then you need to look at your setup under contributions-->maintain list of contribution funds and make sure there is a debit and credit defined.

If you post Contributions without posting to Fund Accounting, and then want to enter the totals into Fund Accounting later, you can enter those as Journal Entries (Accounting -> Fund Accounting -> Enter Transactions). You won't need to reenter each individual contribution, you can just do one transaction for the total for each fund used.
