Re: Emailing Contribution Statements
PowerChurch will let you know on that report if your outgoing mail server rejected the message, but it wouldn't know about ones that were sent that will later bounce back to you as undeliverable.
Re: Emailing Contribution Statements
This issue is not that it would be 'rejected', but if your ISP has a spam trigger, it wouldn't reject them, just not send them. It may not send anything back to your system.wms7328 wrote:Thanks for the info. I didn't have any errors reported on the sent email report even though only about 40% of the people with emails were actually sent. Would Power Church be expected to generate an error for emails that were rejected by providers?

Re: Emailing Contribution Statements
We had another user report a similar issue very recently and that has now been fixed in the latest Maintenance Release.
In this scenario, we could recreate this issue. Specifically on the step that shows your e-mail settings, if you click Finish and receive a message that your e-mail settings are not correct, when you try sending again with new settings, the list of statements to send is greatly reduced.
That may or may not be the situation you experienced, but would certainly be the case if the e-mail settings you have saved in PowerChurch are not correct and have to change them every time you send. In any case, that specific scenario has been fixed.

Thanks for your reply. I had changed email settings prior to sending emails the last time so it sounds like a similar problem.
