Pledge to Actual Report

My report to the vestry includes the monthly amount pledged vs. the monthly actually received. The report only calculates the total YTD at the end of the report. Therefore, I must manually calculate from the previous month to the present to get the amount under pledged. Am I the only one that needs this info?....I tried to send a request to wishlist but it did not recognize my sbcglobal.net....Can someone help?....Thanks...Budman :lol:

What version of PC+ are you using ?? When i run the pledged to actual report, the last page contains the total pledged, total actually collected, and the difference between the two .

I'm on version 9.

Yes. I am using ver 9 and the report does have the total pledged and the total received. But it is for the YTD and not for the month requested..I must manually calculate the difference between last month and the current month to get the "monthly" amount. I would like for the program to do the math....Thanks for your reply....Bud :lol:

Are your pledges entered with year as the pledge period? The year pledge period indicates that they are going to give that amount at sometime during the year and you don't necessarily know when that is going to be. If you want to increase the amount they have 'due' during the year, then the pledge amount needs to be broken down to weekly or monthly amounts.

Pledges are not prorated to the number of weeks or months you are including on the report.

I enter all pledges as "weekly" so the computer could know what period I am looking for. e.g. May has 5 weeks, so the calculation should be for the period of May 1 thru May 31...that would give me an accurate number. Apparently the software is not designed to give the pledges per period, only the YTD...Bud I guess I can live with that and continue doing it manually....Thanks for the reply....Bud :lol:
