I'm now planning on using the email contribution statement function in PC but is appears that most of the personal profiles have the checkbox "E-mail contribution statement" checked. Is there an easier way to mass remove the checked boxes than going one by one? Thank you!

Not that I know of.

Which is why I recommend to always review any new membership profiles created, and clear those boxes. That said, I'm fairly sure that if you don't have an email address entered, you don't have to worry about it.

What I would do is run the E-mail Statement List Contribution Report to see who actually has email addresses listed with the box checked. There may be less than you think.

I apologize for the late reply on this. Neil is correct, there is not a way to mass-update those settings.

There are "Default email privacy settings" in Version 12 that can be used to change the default email settings when adding new people into PowerChurch from this point forward. To change the default options, go to File > Preferences > Family Mailing List Setup. Click on the Adding New Families tab. Across the bottom of the screen are three checkbox options: Include in bulk mailings, Unlisted, and Email contribution statement.

Each option that is checked on this screen would be checked on each new family and individual that is added into PowerChurch.
