Failure to login to Vanco

I have just set our church up to accept online contributions through Vanco.

After receiving all of the credentials required, I entered that information in the "Import from Vanco" screen.

I get as far as importing, but I get a "Login request failed with: Request Timeout"

Vanco says they are not familiar with this and suggested contacting PC.

Vanco made a security update a couple of years ago, restricting connections using an older version of TLS encryption. Newer Windows versions, 8.1 and 10, received updates automatically quite a while ago, but older versions like Windows 7, Servers 2008 and 2012 weren't automatically updated with this change. If you have an older Windows computer, click the link below to go to the Microsoft support site, which explains how to get the "Recommended" update installed from Windows Update and then there is an "Easy Fix" option that you can download and run that makes sure the new options are enabled.
