I made a contribution post and deposited the funds Dec 31 for parishioner.
Check dated 2020. They now want to move the funds to start covering their 2021 pledge as their statement for 2020 is over their annual pledge.
What is the best way to move this contribution as it was posted and deposited on Dec. 31, 2020?

Open the Maintain Pledge function, find their pledge, and adjust the Pledge Start Balance. This will adjust their pledge and reflect on the Contribution Statement.

However, they will not see an entry on the statement, nor receive any tax benefits for 2021 as the check was entered in 2020, if they originally wanted it in 2021 they should have waited to drop it off after Jan 1st.
