lost contributions

I just printed out my year end receipts, but noticed the first two Sunday's offerings are gone. They have posted into the accounting as the totals on those two days, but they are not in anyone's contributions for those two days. I have reindexed all files, but those days are just gone.

Any suggestions?

Double check your reports to make sure these entries weren't entered into some weird date by mistake, like 2002, or 2030. The only other explaination I can think of would be someone, at some point, may have invoked the "delete old data" option - which is unrecoverable. Hopefully, you have record of these entries (unposted contributions report, perhaps?) and can recreate them. Since your Fund Accounting is ok, you'll only need to update Contributions when you post the re-entries.
