Deleting a day

I'm having an issue with a contribution and can't figure out the issue. Therefore, I'm thinking of deleting the day and re-entering all information from that day.
My question is, will deleting the day also delete entries processed on a different day but posted back to the original day.
So the contribution was entered on 6/27 originally, but corrections were made several times on days in July and August but the 6/27 date was always entered as the post date. Will those entries also be deleted by deleting on data from 6/27?
I'm new to Power church so hopefully that makes since.

Thanks,
Colleen

The Delete Old Data utility works purely on the Contribution Date that was entered, so if you delete from 6/27/2021 to 6/27/2021, it will delete all the entries for that date, regardless of when you entered them.

Thanks for your response.
Another question, when re-entering the contributions that are imported from our online system, can I just re-enter like a normal paper contributions and then do an entry for the fees?

Thanks so much for the help!

Not knowing how you're getting the data, and what online system you're using makes any suggestion harder. However, this thread covers a lot of options: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13956

We use Vanco for on online contributions.
In that case, you don't have to do anything if you have Vanco setup properly. Powerchurch will import the data, as well as setup the proper Funds Account transactions needed.

This KnowledgeBase article will show you the integration steps: https://www.powerchurch.com/support/444 ... ntegration
