Import Contributions from File

Post by ohchriste »

Version 14 added an option on the Import Contributions from File screen: "The first line of the import file contains field names." While I understand the usefulness of this option, the placement and ease of accidently checking it has caused us problems. One of our processors accidently clicked on the line, not the box, and the first entry of the data file was not processed. We spent an inordinate amount of time trying to locate that missing contribution. Would like to suggest that option be moved down toward the bottom of the screen and require the curser to be in the check box, not just anywhere on the line, to be activated. As it is it is just too easy to accidently activate that field.

Actually, that option has been there for a while, and in the same place since at least v11.55. However, you can add this request to the wishlist by sending an email to wishlist@powerchurch.com. Include the way you'd like to see it, and the reasoning behind the action.
