Contribution Posting

I have gone through the setup for contributions, but when I attempt to post a contribution, it will not let me post to fund accounting. Can you tell me what I have probably done incorrectly in setup or any advice how to fix this?

How are you logged in? Are you logged in as
System Admin or a regular user? If a regular user, did you give yourself 'Posting' permissions?
