Visitor Contributions

Is there a way to default the profile status to VISITOR, when setting up new profiles during contribution entry? I know that this can be manually entered at the creation of the profile, but was hoping that it could be set as a default profile setting.

In a word ... no. There is no way to set the profile status to any default. The way we got around this was through thurough training of our counting teams.
