When I try to email a contribution report I get an error message saying "Relaying denied." What's that mean?

It means that your SMTP server does not recognize your login, and believes that you're trying to use the server as an email relay, much like some spammers do to open servers.Frank Henderson wrote:When I try to email a contribution report I get an error message saying "Relaying denied." You should be able to override the default mail server settings by going into Preferences => User Setup and select the Email tab. You can then enter your own email address and server info that you use for your home email to do the test.Frank Henderson wrote:I suppose that's because I'm trying to send out a contributions report from home (actually a test mailing to myself) rather than church where I'd normally send them from.
