Contribution Statements - Pledge Summary

I am a new user and fumbling my way through my first batch of contribution statements. How do I get the Pledge Summary to show what the annual pledge is rather than the year to date pledge? Example: Someone pledges $120 per month. I run statements through 10/31/2023. In the Pledge Summary it shows 1/1/2023-12/31/2023 $120.00 per month. However under the Pledge column it only shows $1,200 (which is the YTD pledge amount and not the full year amount).

When you are going through the Contribution Statement report options, when you get to the section that states What contributions do you want to include?, uncheck[/i] the box that says Print details for the same dates and change the ending date on the line that says print details for dates to 12/31/2023 (or the year where the pledge ends).

Did you adjust the DATES under the 'Print details for same dates' line ?? Make sure those dates are from 01-01-2023 to 12-31-2023

Uncheck box - Print Details for same dates
Print details for dates 1/1/2023 - 12/31/2023
Checked Print Pledges
Checked Print Pledge Balance outstanding line.

Statement shows 1/1/2023-12/31/2023 $4,000 per month
Under Pledge Column shows $44,000 which is 11 months
Under Actual Column shows $32,000 which is correct
Difference shows -$12,000

Um .. yes .. in fact I'll send them a note from here. I believe is should show the total pledge for the year there, with a small line underneath listing the pledge period along with the pledged amount per week, or month, or year.

Since the "Print details for same dates" checkbox and second set of dates are optional, it is based on that first date range. I verified if you run the report to select totals for dates 1/1/2023-12/31/2023, the Pledge Summary uses the full year calculation.

The concept is to not show the full year's worth of pledge amounts as due when you run the report throughout the year ($10 per month in March would show $30 due on the pledge, not $120 due)

Thank you. That is exactly what we want to show. We have alot of members that pay their pledge once a year. Also, it's good to know that contributions entered and not posted will not appear on the contribution statement. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
