Disappearing Funds

The person doing the contribution recording of our weekly givings has run into two problems. Will copy text from her emails below.
"Al, I haven't been able to enter any offering figures on PowerChurch since
early July as Funds 1, 2, and 3 have completely disappeared. I just didn't
have much time to try and figure out a solution and am a bit hesitant to do
anything that might make the problem worse! Will have a look at it in the
next week, and, if all else fails, maybe when you get back, I could get the
end-of-June data from the office computer, and then start again from there."
"However, I then looked at a screen I hadn't explored before, called "Audit Event Viewer" in the Contributions module, and I see there that on July 29, which would have been the day I added the 3 new funds, "Fund 1 was changed to Fund 22, Fund 2 to 23, and Fund 3 to 24", so I guess that is the source of the problem. So now all the money that had been entered in Fund 1 (Local Envelopes) is showing up as Youth Group, and Fund 3 (Mission and Service) is showing up as Gifts. Don't know whether I could simply change the names back to the originals????? Obviously, I wouldn't want to lose all the entries for the first six months of the year. "
Summary:
1. Can't enter July - Sept data although it is set for 12 months.
2. Three funds have disappeared, and contributions to them have showed up in other funds.
