Delete Receipt Number on Contribution Statement

Because we use preprinted forms for printing contribution statements. Our preprinted forms include not only our church name and address but also receipt number. We have the receipt number preprinted on the form for control purposes. Power Church also assigns a different Receipt Number. We would like to avoid having two invoice numbers on our contribution statements. How can we delete "Receipt Number: 2007_____" from the contribution statements that Power Church prints?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'receipt number' when it pertains to contribution reports. How is it used ??

Under our system setup options - Church location - Canada
With the Canadian version of contribution receipts additional information is provided including "Receipt Number: _________" which is under "Envelope Number: ____". Since we have a supply of forms for receipts which include receipt number (for control purposes) we do not want Power Church to include the receipt number also.

Aha ... I did some testing with my test system, changing the location to Canada. When I went to print a Contribution Statement (whether using ALL Statements or the Individual Statement report) I got a new print dialogue that asked if I wanted the Tax Receipt printed. It also had additional information about the church listed there.

All I had to do was uncheck that box and the Tax Receipt statement did not print. However, this is not a permanent setting, you would have to uncheck that box every time you printed contribution statements.
