Merging Contribution Funds

I have (earlier) created Contribution Funds that I didn't need to begin with and would like to delete them. PC will not allow me to delete them because transactions are tied to them. How can I get rid of these funds? For others (i.e. cash/check funds) I would like to 'merge' them, how do I do that?

In the Version 10 update from September 2007, there is the option to Reassign a Fund Number under Contributions. Basically it's merging two contributions funds into one. That should do exactly what you're wanting.

I have version 10, but not the updated version 10. How do I get it? or How can I merge funds without having the updated version 10?

You can obtain the "maintenance release" by going to the PowerChurch website and placing "/mr" at the end of the URL.
