Usually the Contributions recorder enters Contributions at home, backs them up, and emails them to me before posting. This time, she posted them on her machine before backing them up and mailing to me. When I restored them and went to post them, there was nothing to post.

How can I solve this problem?

The posted contributions should have restored with the backup. They aren't lost, they just aren't in unposted status anymore.

The problem, it sounds like, is that you can't post them to "Update Fund Accounting" on your system. This will have to be done manually in Fund Accounting > Enter Transactions this time around.

Debit the bank for the total contributions deposit
Credit the individual income accounts for the amounts given

What you're saying then, is to run Contributions | Reports | Fund Report by Date to get the data, and then enter it in Fund Accounting as a new transaction? Is that correct?
