Does anyone use a Kiosk for contributions?
How is the information retrieved & entered into PowerChurch?
Does PowerChurch have any Kiosk vendors they endorse?
Thank you~Kristi

If by 'kiosk', you're referring to a station where people can make contributions by debit or credit card, we use one of those (although we discourage use of the credit card function for contributions). What we do is ask people to use the machine, then save the customer copy of the transaction for themselves and put the merchant copy in their normal offering envelope. If they don't have assigned envelopes, we have some unnumbered ones available next to the machine. Using the envelopes also allows people to designate part of their contribution to funds other than just the general budget.
When the tellers enter all of the contributions for that Sunday, they process all of the cash & cheques in one batch and then do a separate batch for all of the electronic contributions. That way, when I do the bank reconciliation, I see the total that was deposited to the bank on one line and the amount that should be coming from the debit machine company on another line.
This works fairly well for us.
