Error code when trying to email contribution statements

I am trying to email contribution statements for the first time. I was testing my own as well as trying the entire congregation. I keep getting the same error code Code: 1429 Method: create email file. I have set up the email defaults in the Email under User Setup as well as entered them when going through the process of emailing the statements. I do not require authentication as my Outlook does not have this checked. I entered in my outgoing server as the same as is set up in Outlook. Has anyone encountered this same error code? I would really like to email statements to those that have email rather than stuffing envelopes quarterly. Thanks for your help.

The answer to this question may vary, depending on which version of PowerChurch Plus you are using, as well as whether you have installed the latest Maintenance Release.

Please make sure that you have downloaded and installed the latest Maintenance Release by going here: http://powerchurch.com/mr

There have been many updates to the e-mail Contribution Statements process in both versions 9 & 10/10.4 over the years, so the Maintenance Release can be critical to the process working properly for you.

If you still have problems with it after the MR is installed, you will get the quickest results by giving us a call at (800) 486-1800 to speak with a technician, rather than waiting for responses here on the forum.

OK,
After installing latest maintenance release I restarted my machine.
Then I ran a report/printed a pdf file which made power church perform some 1 time updates.
Then I was able to successfully email report!
I just saved our ministry some money not having to pay for phone tech support.
Praise the Lord!
