Pledged/Unpledged

I am trying to figure out the total amount given to pledged funds for the year. I ran a "Contribution Fund Pledged/Unpledged Totals" report. It showed $210,635.88 for the General Operating Budget. I also ran a Pledged to Actual Comparison" report for the General Operating Budget and it showed Total Received was $224,291.09. Shouldn't these two figures be the same?

The Pledged To Actual report is showing totals for the life of the pledge, even if the money was contributed outside the date range you specify.
The Pledged/Unpledged Totals report is looking specifically at Contribution Date and shows the total amount that was applied to a pledge vs. that which was not.
In theory, if all of your pledges were 01/01/2008 to 12/31/2008 and no pledges were ever pre-paid or paid late, then these reports should match when run for the same date range.
