Contribution statements

I am new to Power Church. How do I show all contributions on a statement if I receive 4 envelopes with the same number on one date? I want them to show individually. I checked and unchecked the box where it asked if I wanted details or totals on the screen that asked "what contributions to include". It totaled them in both cases.

The system sees all contributions made to one fund on the same date; no matter how many, as one contribution.

The alternative is to enter each envelope using the date as listed on the envelope; if the envelopes are dated.

That said, at all the churches I've been at, we've only entered the total for such a set of contributions at one time (if cash), or entered each check separately using the same date.

We actively let people know in our bulletin, that if you forget a week, just include that amount in the next envelope. They do not need to send along all the envelopes. We let them know that it only matters that you're fulfilling your pledge, not that you give every week.
