I have a member who worked overtime at her job. Instead of receiving pay from the company she asked them to make a donation to the church for a specific fund. They did, generously. The lady wants to keep it anonymous.
Isn't this actually considered a gift from the company? I will write a hand written thank-you. Should this company's name be listed on the plaque that will be engraved listing all the donors who gave large contributions to the project.
Am I supposed to give the member a form for a non-cash gift...or is that between her and her employer?
Thanks for any advice anyone can give~Kristi

Re: Anonymous Gift
Seems to me that the company is the donor. The lady is not involved as far as making the contribution.
