V11 reporting issues

In V11 when entering contributions you can enter a check number that is up to 20 digits long. However in the Posted Contributions report the check number only displays the last 6 digits of the check number. The offering statement only reports the last 6 digits. The Personal Profile Contribution tab reports the first 6 digits. In other words only 6 digits are reported even though 20 can be entered. Also in the Posted Contributions Report the last digit on the date is not displayed. Instead of 01/21/2010 you get 01/21/201.

Thanks, Tom. We will write these issues up and will get them fixed in a Maintenance Release for 11.

I see the check number in Maintain Personal Profiles, I'm not seeing the date issue on the report though.

In the Posted Contribution Report I get a report preview with the last digit of the date left off and when I print it it prints with the last digit left off but when I save it as a Word file the last digit is there. When I save it as a PDF the last digit is missing. Also the check number is truncated to a max of 6 digits using the last 6 digits.

Using an HP III driver I don't see the problem. I decided to test to different printers. The first one I tested is an HP 6 MP and I'm reproducing the problem.
The reports are designed to work with the HP III driver and should work in all the others.
Thanks, I'll see what can be done.

As for the 6 digits of a contribution number, it's showing the most significant part of the number, which is what is needed for validations. I see the View Posted Contributions screen is only showing the first 6 instead of the last six. We'll get that taken care of too.

I am using and HP Officejet 6500 here. I have not looked at the reports on the computer in the church office, which has a different default printer. I will check it this morning - provided the old brain remembers - to see if it is any different.

As far as the check number is concerned. Does the full number display anywhere? It seems to me to not be of any advantage to have a 20 character field available to enter data into if you can only display 6 in the reports. I can understand the space constraints for printing these reports but I would hope you can pull the full number up someplace. I have yet to find it, but then I must admit I have not looked very hard.
