Having a problem posting contributions to accounting

We are new to PowerChurch and this is only the second week we have been using it. We have both the contributions and the accounting set up. However, when I put in the contributions and am ready to post the option to post to accounting is not available. Any ideas on what we missed in setting up?

You need to set up your chart of accounts in Fund Accounting first.

Then, you need to create a Contribution Fund in the Contributions module that points to a Debit account (usually your General Checking account) and a Credit account (usually an income account).

You can enter Contributions without the Fund Accounting accounts set up, but you can only post to the Contributions module until they are set up.

Thank you so much, I had set the funds up and the accounting, but we had not put the checking account in as the debit and that fixed the problem.
