Extra $10 contribution

Early last year (2009) and odd $10 contribution showed up. I need it to balance but it doesn't matching anything I deposited. What does that mean??

Um ... are you saying that it showed up in Contributions, but that Funds Accounting is correct ??

If that's the case, just find where the $10 was accidentally added, then do a reversing entry in Contributions for that fund. I'd do this after you normally post Contributions to Funds Accounting.

Once you do the reversing entry, then post Contributions to Contributions only. This will correct that entry.
