Deposit Slip problem

We use the pre-printed deposit slips. I can only enter 18 contributions, then I have to stop, print a deposit slip and post the contributions so that the slips will print correctly. If I do more than 18, the extra's just print uselessly on the bottom white part that is meant to be torn off. I am using the printed deposit slips that are recommended by Power Church. Why does it not pick up a second sheet after the first 18 have been printed? Am I missing something?

This is by design. The detail overflow is supposed to print in all the white space in the bottom 2/3 of the sheet.

Why would this be a good thing? I have to post after every 18 entries, with people standing behind me waiting to continue giving me the contrib info. I have no opportunity to review things so mistakes are made and it is much more dificult to correct after posting.

Are you saying that your bank won't accept the deposit slip the way that PowerChurch Plus prints on it, or do you just not like the way that it looks? You don't have to stop and post every 18 entries.

Right, the bank will only take the tear off part, not a whole sheet.

Where did this information come from your bank? For business accounts it is common to have more checks than can be listed on a deposit ticket. I know that when we go to the bank we give them an adding machine tape totaling our deposit and they just attach it to the deposit ticket. I would ask to speak to your branch manager and find out what specifically is required.

I agree with Jeff, while we don't use the preprinted deposit slip, we just attach the deposit slip report to a regular deposit slip, and they accept it without problems.
