Pledge Summary and actually received do not agree

I have a couple of 6-month contribution statements which I do not understand. The following is one example: The member has given $5,400 to our current fund during the past 6-month period. His pledge is $200 per week which totals $5,200 ($200 more than pledged). The Pledge Summary information states, "Pledge $5,200 and Actual $3,000". Does not compute. Most of the statements are fine, but there are a couple of others that have this same problem. I also sent this information to a Power Church Tech as I was unsure where to send it. Help, please.

First off, some friendly advice. The forums are divided up into specific areas for each module in Powerchurch, this type of question would best be posted under the Contributions Forum, as it could be overlooked in this location, which is devoted to general questions on using the forum.

That said, I suspect that many of these people may have been giving to the fund, before the pledge was actually entered. Thus you will have amounts contributed, that have not been assigned against the pledge.

What I would do is go into the Maintain Pledges module under Contributions: (all these pics are from V11):

As you can see, there is a pledge, and you can see the button at the bottom Search for Contributions. You can click on that and the next screen will appear:

Here you can check the contributions listed and assign them against the pledge.
