Enter Contributions Screen

When entering contributions the name boxed is grayed out which force you to use the envelope number box. Is there any way around that where I can use the name box instead and type in the name of the contributor?

If you hit F2 while the envelope number box is highlighted you will get the list of all the names that have envelope numbers. As you start to type in the name of the contributor PC will automatically search down to the name you are looking for. The more letters you type in the closer it will get.

Please realize that you have to have an envelope number for each contributor, even if you don't use envelopes. This number ties the contributor data in the Membership module, to their contributions data in the Contributions module. This is the ONLY link between the two modules and it must be used.
