error message when clicking locate

Post by lmschuelke »

I am using Windows XP, PCP9 with 10/12/04 mr

When in the modify unposted contributions, after modifying or adding another I'm not sure which, I click on Locate and get an error Message and then the program shuts down. :( I have gotten this several times, hoped that the maint release 10/12 would fix it, but it didn't. I'm not sure exactly what I had just done in this window, except that it ended with clicking Locate. Hope this helps figure out the glitch.

Error
PROGRAM: FRM_COTRANS.LOCATE
Line 165
error 5
Message: Record is out of range
Thanks

If it is any consolation, you are not the first one to get this error!

I'm also seeing this error in the fund accounting module.

I am currently working with tech support in trying to resolve the same problem we're experiencing on one computer.

What Service Pack do you have installed?

Thanks,
Jeff

We have the most recent 10/12/04 maint. release.
Thanks for your quick reply. :) Hope you figure out what's the problem. God bless!

Jeff's error was actually a little different. He was having trouble with the locate screen, but was getting an "Unrecognized phrase/keyword" error.

That said, I've talked with development, and this "Record out of Range" error is something they need to address. Thanks for reporting this, it should be fixed in the next maintenance release.

We were able to track this down.

If you delete an entry, and happen to be near or on the last record, the problem will occur.

This will be handled correctly in the next release.
