How do you set a flag or indicate the current contribution is not tax deductible? Currently in our Servant Keeper program we are changing from we can mark the contribution as non-tax deductible with a check mark and that will remove the deduction from contributor's report. Some items depending on how they are used could be non-deductible/deductible.

Re: Non Deductibale
In Powerchurch, you create a separate Contribution Fund and UNcheck the box that says include fund on Statements. When you setup the Contribution Fund you use the Chart of Accounts income (credit) and bank (debit) accounts that would normally be used to cover such income.Murry_Page wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 11:00 pmHow do you set a flag or indicate the current contribution is not tax deductible? For example. You regularly collect funds that pay for Study Materials, which is a reimbursement to the church. In Funds Accounting you would have an income account to reflect such payments (01-4140-000), but you use the same checking account for all church banking (01-1110-000). You would create the Contribution Fund with these two account numbers, and the 'include fund' box unchecked.
