I am the administrator of Power Church. I have given the Financial Secretary access to the Contributions module. My question is how do I give her access to email reports to more than one person at a time from the Contributions module? I gave her access to the Personal Profiles but that still did not allow her to send a report to more than one person at a time.

What version are you using? What other access does she have? I just set my system to just allow me access only to contributions and I can send multiple email statements. Could be the selections being made when choosing parameters.

Tom's right, if she has to Contributions, she should have the ability to email statements. It may be that shes not selecting the correct report, she should be using the All Contribution Statements to create and email the statements.

I assume you are talking about e-mail a report to a committee and not contribution statements. To enable the send to group on reports, the user needs access rights to Family Mailing List, Personal Profiles, and Activities and Skills.

Family Mailing List & Personal Profiles because this is where the e-mail addresses are. Activities & Skills because this is where the groups are defined.

The idea behind this feature is if you need to send a report a committee, use the send e-mail to a group from activities & skills and then select your comittee. The program will export the report as a PDF and attach it to e-mail messages to the members of the committee.

OK Jeff, so you mean 'read only' writes ?? What type of access does the normal 'Data Entry Only' permission gives to a person who only does contributions entry ??

Yes, at a minimum the person needs to have read only access to Family Mailing List, Personal Profiles, and Activity & Skills to send a report to a group.

The "Data Entry Only" is a special permission for contributions that allows an operator to add new contributions and run a small subset of the contributions reports having to do verifying their entry.
