Unable to Email Contributions Statements

I am using PowerChurch Plus 14.4 and have emailed Contributions Statements for many years.

This year when I run "all contribution statements", I get the print preview, however, the little envelope that I'm supposed to click on to send email, is grey - nothing happens when i try to click on it.

On one of the last steps of the All Contribution Statements process, it asks how you want to generate them with various print and/or email options listed.
