Personalizing Tax Receipt Email

I am using PowerChurch 12 and have been successfully sending tax receipts (Canadian) by email for several years now. However, this year our new minister has supplied me the body copy of the email and has asked for it to be addressed to the individual's name rather than a generic salutation. Can't see a place on the screen to insert a merge field but google tells me that PowerChurch does support customization like this (albeit it is in the AI generated response so maybe it's totally false). Does anyone know how to have a personalized salutation (ie. Dear Fred) in email body that goes along with the emailed tax receipts?

PowerChurch doesn't have support for mail merge fields in email messages. What confused the AI is likely the existing functionality in PowerChurch to create a mail merge data source file for use in Word or other word processing software. That would be for making form letters, not sending emails.

Okay thank you Zorak. Not sure if this is something PowerChurch would consider adding in an upcoming release but it would be of interest to us and I'm guessing others as well. Cheers!
