Reports- Active Pledges
Under contributions then reports: The active pledges report shows envelope 165 not found but has a pledge assigned to it. This envelope is not assigned to anyone. Where does this report originate from, and how can I delete this pledge when an envelope number has not been assigned? Thanks Ron

Have you been doing backups of part of the system (Contributions) on a non-networked computer, then restoring to the main computer ??randers243 wrote:Under contributions then reports: The active pledges report shows envelope 165 not found but has a pledge assigned to it. This can happen if this is being done.
I'm trying to think of a way to easily fix this, first try doing a Reindex of the database using the Reindex function off the Utilities menu.
Let us know how that turns out.

Neil,
Yes we have been doing backups from a non networked computer then restoring to church computer. I tried reindex on my computer , it made no difference. I will try the church computer tomorrow.

What can cause this that the database on the non-networked computer, is out of sync with the computer at church.randers243 wrote:Neil,

The problem with this type of situation is that if someone is doing updates to the Membership database in the office and also possibly doing deletions. If a membership backup was made on the church machine (not including any contributions data), then brought back to the non-networked machine, and membership data was deleted you could have the situation you're seeing.
