accidental change to cintribution fund
Sometime in the month of August a change was made to our main contribution acct that caused funds to go to a release acct instead of income acct. This was not noticed until after I posted everything to fund accounting and ran reports. The error happened for 3 weeks. My question is can I reverse those contributions in fund acct and then reenter them in the contribution module or can it be done in fund acct? Any help is appreciated.

Re: accidental change to cintribution fund
If you haven't already done so, you will need to change the income account that is assigned to that fund on the Maintain List of Contribution Funds screen in Contributions > Setup. That will make future Contributions postings go to the correct account.
If you have Version 14 or 15, you can use the Reverse & Correct utility to fix those transactions. Go to Fund Accounting > View Posted Transactions. Select the problem transaction and click the Reverse/Correct button. When prompted, choose Reverse & Correct. On the Enter Correction screen, change the income account and click Save.
